Qualifying Events

The only time you can make changes to who is covered under your State Health plan and your other benefits (aside from Open Enrollment) is when you experience a "Qualifying Event."

Qualifying events include marriage or divorce, the birth or adoption of a child, loss of health coverage (including Medicaid), becoming eligible for Medicare, or the death of a spouse or currently enrolled dependent.
