Retirement Plans

CCSD has one of the strongest retirement programs you can find anywhere.

Our complete retirement program is made up of 3 parts: Social Security, Georgia TRS or PSERS and the CCSD Retirement Savings Plan (RSP).

Your contributions to Social Security and either TRS or PSERS are mandatory, and all employees hired after 6/1/2017 are automatically enrolled in the CCSD RSP with contributions at 3% of pay.

You may opt out of the RSP at any time, but we encourage all employees to save as much as they can at all stages of life.
